The Pakistan Navy League recently convened its 21st Annual General Body Meeting, a testament to its enduring commitment to service and community engagement. In the winter of 2024, the Pakistan Navy League embarked on an extraordinary voyage, a journey of cultural immersion and scenic exploration in the heart of Southeast Asia. This ten-day sojourn, from January 29th to February 8th, took a spirited group of 23 members along with their spouses, predominantly senior citizens, across the captivating landscapes of Viet Nam and Bangkok. Under the expert guidance of tour operator Masood Rizvi, this expedition was crafted not just as a mere tour, but as an odyssey of discovery and camaraderie. The journey was meticulously organized, prioritizing comfort and accessibility, considering the diverse needs of its members. This journey was more than a tour; it was a testament to the enduring spirit of exploration that the Pakistan Navy League embodies, a narrative of embracing new experiences and forming lasting bonds amidst the backdrop of Southeast Asia's diverse splendor.
On December 17, 2023, the Pakistan Navy League held a memorable dinner at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi, bringing together 65 members, including senior and junior officers, and their spouses. The event took place at the Chandni Lounge, known for its luxury and exquisite dining. Attendees enjoyed a buffet of traditional Pakistani dishes and a live barbecue, accompanied by live music and stunning rooftop views of Karachi. The evening fostered camaraderie and unity among members, emphasizing the importance of community within the organization. It was a resounding success and left lasting memories for all involved.
On November 12th, 2023, an event was unfolded at the exquisite Wasena Wedding Hall, located near Anchorage in Islamabad. This event was nothing short of a heartwarming Farewell , a tribute orchestrated by Commodore Naseem Ghafoor, to bid adieu as Vice President of Pakistan Navy League Islamabad Chapter to the venerable Admiral Saleem Akhtar and his unwaveringly dedicated team.
The Navy League keeps the tradition alive by hosting a special STAG Lunch. With the spirit of brotherhood and honor at its core, the League On November 4th, celebrated its storied STAG Lunch. The grandeur of the Services Mess played host to this exclusive gathering, bringing together distinguished individuals who share an unwavering commitment to their nation's naval defense. This event wasn't just a meal; it was a celebration of shared values and collective dedication, embodying the essence of the League's enduring camaraderie.
In a notable endeavor, the Pakistan Navy League has meticulously organized a spectacular expedition to the illustrious Skardu Valley, renowned for its unspoiled lakes and imposing mountain ranges. The venture, under the astute leadership of Commodore Rashid Ulla, was marked by meticulous planning and insightful guidance owing to his extensive experience in exploration. Recognizing the complexities inherent in such an undertaking, the Navy League aligned with a proficient tour operator to curate a holistic six-day itinerary, unveiling the diverse wonders of Skardu. Remarkably inclusive, the expedition welcomed family members, fostering an environment of excitement and familial bonding, and attracted 35 enthusiastic participants. Spanning September 12th to 17th, the journey intertwined luxury, local culinary experiences, mesmerizing aerial views of northern landscapes, and rhythmic discoveries of nature’s masterpieces, crafting not just a visual feast but a transcendental journey into nature's exquisite magnificence.
The Pakistan Navy League orchestrated a memorable day-out at Dreamworld Water Park & Resort in Karachi for its members and their families. Beginning at Duck Park, two buses transported attendees to the resort. Throughout the day, families enjoyed various attractions like the wave pool, water slides, and artificial sea. The event culminated in a delightful Pakistani buffet lunch, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a day filled with laughter, bonding, and fun.

The visit to PNS Tughril provided the Pakistan Navy League members with a unique opportunity to witness the PNS Tughril's advanced features and capabilities firsthand. The warm welcome and informative presentation made the visit a memorable experience for all the guests, and they were able to gain a deeper appreciation of the important role that the Pakistan Navy plays in ensuring the country's security. The Navy League as part of the ‘Good Deeds Activities’ is looking after Ghulam Nabi Secondary School since 2003. At the time of the adoption of the school, the overall strength of students was about 200 which now stands at 700, with a large number of children on a waiting list, the infrastructure of buildings was in extremely dilapidated condition and there was an acute shortage of teachers before taking over by Navy league.. The school is located on Baba Islands, a poor fisherman village having a population of about 16,000 inhabitants. Although the education facility had extensively existed for a long, due to the non-provision of resources, the school had deteriorated with the passage of time. Members were delighted to meet the students and teachers.

The heritage tour offered a captivating experience, blending the past and future through impressive architectural landmarks. Samarkand, transformed by Emir Taimur, showcased the rich Muslim history with its mosques, madrasas, and mausoleums. This city became a symbol of the Muslim pursuit of knowledge, as seen in the contributions of figures like Imam al-Bukhari, the Naqshbandiyah Sufi order, and al-Beruni. The tour's highlight was the awe-inspiring Registan, featuring monumental bluish monoliths and intricate geometric patterns representing the power of nature. Standing in awe of these architectural marvels was a lifelong experience, witnessing their splendor and magnificence.
NAVY LEAGUE CHINA/TIBET TOUR 10-23 OCTOBER 2017. The China tour was a captivating journey through a land steeped in history and vibrant culture. From the majestic Great Wall snaking across the countryside to the enchanting Forbidden City, every stop was a testament to China's rich heritage. The Terracotta Army in Xi'an stood as a testament to the nation's ancient civilization, while the modern marvels of Shanghai showcased its dynamic progress. The serene beauty of the Li River and the picturesque landscapes of Guilin left visitors in awe. Delving into Chinese cuisine, experiencing traditional tea ceremonies, and immersing in bustling local markets added layers to the cultural experience. The China tour offered a glimpse into a captivating land of history, culture, and natural wonders.
