LUNCH AT THE NATIONAL SAILING CENTER 06 NOVEMBER 2021

COVID-19 had effectively brought an end to all social get together and collective outings for over 18 months now. However, despite this , the NL managed to undertake 2 trips to Northern Areas and Swat/Kashmir Valleys in 2020 and 2021. With the waning of the pandemic , we have started gearing up our activities and in this respect a lunch was arranged on Saturday, 6th November at the National Sailing Center for members.

The event was well attended and 40 members participated in the event. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the lunch, the gathering and the ambiance of the renovated National Sailing Center. To commemorate the 50 years of the 1971 war, a dua was offered for the Shaheeds and the Ghazis of the war; this brought back many memories and especially the ones relating to the departed colleagues.
